Silver Alert issued for 64-year-old Milwaukee man last seen at Wisconsin Community Services

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a 64-year-old Milwaukee man who was last seen at Wisconsin Community Services and never returned to his group home.

Authorities are searching for Anthony R. Gardner.

Gardner is described as a Black man who is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 260 pounds. He has brown eyes and a short black beard.

He was last seen wearing a Green Bay Packers fleece, red-and-black checkered pajama pants and white tennis shoes.

According to authorities, Gardner was taken to Aurora Sinai Medical Center around 1 a.m. Oct. 2. Law enforcement was notified around 2:23 a.m. that he had walked away from the hospital.

Staff at Gardner's group home later reported that he was seen at Wisconsin Community Services, located at 3732 W. Wisconsin Ave., where he went to pick up a check later that morning.

Gardner never returned to his group home and is believed to be traveling on foot.
