Report: Jordan Love expected to return to lineup against the Vikings

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Green Bay Packers starting Quarterback Jordan Love is set to return to action against divisional foe the Minnesota Vikings.

This according to NFL Insider Ian Rapport:

It is still unclear if Love is expected to start, but the Packers' franchise quarterback has been held out since Week 1, after he suffered an MCL sprain against the Eagles in Brazil: Packers QB Jordan Love has an MCL injury and should return this season, AP source says (cbs58.com)

Since then, backup Quarterback Malik Willis has gone 2-0 during his two starts filling in for Love: Malik Willis shows the Titans what they gave up, leading the Packers to a 30-14 rout (cbs58.com)

The Green Bay Packers have not independently confirmed whether or not Love will play Sunday as they welcome the Vikings to Lambeau Field for a Noon kickoff.
