'School of Rock' allowing students to showcase talent at Summerfest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of students will get an opportunity to rock out at Summerfest this year.
School of Rock allows over 600 students from six countries, over 50 schools and around 80 bands to showcase their talents. A select group of performers will be showcasing their skills live at Summerfest on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.
Stacey Ryan, President of School of Rock and Shane Wessley, music director, joined us on Friday ahead of the performance to discuss the program while offering a preview of the upcoming performances.
