Seasonal weekend before an early August cool down

It's shaping up to be a pleasant end to what was a hot month of July. Temperatures at midday are currently in the middle 70s with a nice NE breeze at 10-15 mph.

Milwaukee's current temperature of 75° means today is the 46th day in a row with temps of at least 75° or warmer. This ties 2016, 2010, and 1929 for the longest streak of 75°+ days.

We'll likely break the record this weekend as highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, but the streak could come to an end early next week as cooler Canadian air settles into the state.

The cooler air moves in behind a slow moving cold front that'll bring scattered rain and storms back into the area on Sunday. That'll be our best chance for rain this weekend, however we can't rule out a few isolated showers popping up Saturday afternoon.
