Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Vincente
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Hope you're not getting used to a good thing because the weather is changing for the unsettled as we get into Monday afternoon. In fact, you can expect several rounds of showers and storms during the afternoon and lingering into the evening. If you're outside and the storms develop, make sure to head inside. The rain could be heavy, perhaps adding up to an inch or so. Also, there could be frequent lightning and small hail. Gusty winds can also be expected.
Another area of low pressure jetting out of the Plains will keep the storms going Tuesday and Wednesday. This low looks to be stronger than its predecessor. So, we could be facing the prospects of stronger storms on those days. We actually have a "slight" risk of severe weather on Tuesday into Tuesday night.
The weather does look to quiet down by Thursday and Friday. However, we'll see more storms on Saturday with a completely different storm system.
Remember if you're out and about this holiday weekend, make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app so you can keep track of where the storms are on radar.
