MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ben Sajdak, co-owner and certified pedorthist at Goodmiles Running Company, joined us on Wednesday, April 1 to share information about how properly fitting shoes can help prevent foot, joint and back pain.
Sajdak said an estimated 63% to 72% of people are wearing the wrong shoe size and recommends replacing walking shoes every 500 miles. He walked through how 3D foot scanning technology can identify pressure points and gait patterns, along with accessories like moisture-wicking socks and reflective gear for walking year-round.
