CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee police source tells us there was a "cyber incident" at the Milwaukee Police Department Friday, Nov. 21.
According to the source, the incident only affected the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas unit; they say some confidential information is stored in this area.
The source says it's unclear at this time if ransomware or any data was stolen.
CBS 58 has reached out to the Milwaukee Police Department for more information.
