BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Brookfield audience got a sneak peek Wednesday night at one of the most anticipated movies this holiday season. Marcus Majestic Cinema showed Wicked as a fundraiser for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Some 300 people packed the theatre, many of them under four feet tall, and giving a shout out to their favorite witch in Wicked, the prequel to the timeless film The Wizard of Oz.

Long before Dorothy arrived in Oz, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch had a story all their own. We asked people here about their favorites.

"Team Glinda or Team Elphaba?" CBS 58's Michele Fiore asked.

"Glinda," said Sophia Klauk, age 14.

"Why do you like the pink lady?"

"I don't know," said Sara Galovits and her 8-year-old daughter, Annabelle.

Glinda fans showed up decked out in pink.

"Are you Team Pink or Team Green?"

"Team Pink all the way," said Aiden Remiker, age 8.

"Which of the witches tonight is your favorite the pink or the green?"

"Pink," said Emma Metyard, age 4.

Glinda was an apparent fan favorite in this audience, but those wearing green tell us the misunderstood Elphaba won them over in the Broadway musical.

"Team Glinda all the way, but I have a special place in my heart for Elphaba," said Allie Remiker.

The event at Marcus Majestic Cinema two days before Wicked's official release brought hundreds out.

"Bippity Boppity Boo," said one girl wearing both green and pink.

And 100% of ticket sales got donated to Children's Hospital paying for things like…

"Wrap around services like our pet therapy, art therapy, that helps kids feel more comfortable in the hospital or they have a tough procedure, and it allows kids to be kids," said Christine Baranoucky, Vice President of Engagement and Stewardship for Children's Wisconsin Foundation.

Hours before showtime, ticket holders were treated to fun stations. Shizz University foods like wicked wings, face painting and hair extensions, naturally in pink and green.

"And we're just thrilled that we had such a great turnout. We're gonna have a lot of great, wicked fun," said Pamela Hanson, Director of Media and Communications for Marcus Theatres.

Pamela Hanson tells us the movie is incredible.

"The acting is phenomenal, and I just encourage every single person man, young, old, man, woman, you got to see this movie," said Hanson.

This is the sixth year Marcus has partnered with Children's Hospital. Wicked premieres in theatres this Friday.
