Down on the farm this Sunday in East Troy for a great picnic...

After a very wet late Spring, the heat and the lack of rain is starting to catch up with our lawns and flowers. July has been pretty dry so far. Already Milwaukee is over an inch below average, and there's not much in the form of measurable rainfall in the forecast over the next several days. We are also below average since the start of meteorological summer, which is June 1.
Next week the best chance for storms will arrive on Wednesday; otherwise, it would be a good idea to start watering before the vegetation starts to brown and go past the point of no return.
Thankfully summer can quickly drop heavy rainfall with the higher moisture content within storms, but right now it's tough to buy a drop!
