MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Day two of the second weekend of Summerfest is underway Friday, Sept. 10. And if you're savvy, you can always find a way to get in for free.
On Friday, Sept. 10, the first 1,500 people to bring $10 worth of hygiene products for Mary Lou's Closet will get in free.
Lauren Vagnini with Briggs & Stratton said things like shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste are often overlooked as a back-to-school necessity for children in need.
"This time of year we think 'pencils, markers, crayons, this is what kids need at school to be successful," said Vagnini. "But what was really eye opening to me is that they really need stuff like this."
If you're headed to Summerfest there are a lot of fun things to do for week two.
Freedom Boat Club is giving free boat rides on the lake every 30 minutes.
Zac Brown Band and Gabby Barrett are headlining the main stage. The other stages have some big names too, many that have never performed at Summerfest.
"You've got the Goo Goo Dolls, G Eazy, Nelly, OAR, Lindsey Sterling, Wilco," said Bob Babisch vice president of entertainment for Summerfest. "We've been trying to get Wilco forever."
On Saturday, Sept 11., veterans and active duty military are being honored with free entrance for themselves and family, up to four members.
Here is a full list of music for week two and week three of Summerfest.
