Summerfest to have dedicated zone for Uber pick-ups and drop-offs

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest is teaming up with Uber to make it easier to get to and from the Big Gig. 

People who use Uber will be dropped off and picked up in the "Uber Pickup Zone" which is right outside Summerfest's Mid Gate at E. Chicago Street. 

There are surcharges for taking rides to and from the drop-off zone. 

There's also a rider lounge where event-goers can charge their phones while waiting for their driver.
