Summerfun Horse Show returns to Wisconsin State Fair Park

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) - Some of the nation's top American Saddlebreds are returning to Wisconsin State Fair Park this week for the annual Summerfun Horse Show.

The four-day event, hosted by the American Saddlebred Association of Wisconsin, features competition showcasing the breed often referred to as the "peacock of the horse world."

CBS 58 was joined by ASAW President Shari Hanneman and President and Secretary Jane Wagner to preview this year's event.

The pair discussed what first-time visitors can expect, what makes American Saddlebreds unique, the qualities judges evaluate during competition, and why the breed continues to captivate both competitors and spectators.
