MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Can't believe I'm even saying this. Happy September! For the next few days, despite lots of sun, it'll feel cooler. Highs only in the low 70s for many. The one problem for Sunday is a High Swim Risk for lakeside areas from Milwaukee County points south. High waves, wind, and rip currents could be issues. Please stay off Lake Michigan. Conditions should improve for Labor Day itself.
As we progress through this week, expect a warmup by midweek. Highs then around 80. But then another strong cold front will give us a chance of showers and storms by Thursday night. We should clear out after showers on Friday, but it'll be cooler for the first full weekend of September. Highs then in the 60s.
