'The Library Show': Milwaukee Public Library hosts local artists for after-hours performance

September is National Library Card Sign-up Month.
The library brought in hip-hop, rap, and electronic artists under the Run Along Forever record label.
They threw a concert in the Central Library's rotunda Thursday night, Sept. 3.
Milwaukee producer Sunny Lou told us the hope is someone comes to the library for the show, sees how much it can offer, and comes back.
"Nothing like this has happened here in the library like this yet," Sunny said. They've had other really cool events, that's why we wanted to do this one. To highlight everything that happens here."
People at the show had the opportunity to get a special edition library card with the Run Along Forever logo.
