Trace Adkins to headline Mequon's Gathering on the Green festival July 9

MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A lot of people have missed live music since the start of the pandemic.
On Tuesday, we learned that Gathering on the Green in Mequon has booked country music star Trace Adkins as its headliner on Friday, July 9.
Cheap Trick will perform on July 10.
Gathering on the Green was put on hold last summer, like most other music events because of COVID.
Proceeds from Gathering on the Green support music education programs in Wisconsin.
