WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Fair is aiming to develop its mission of inclusion with several accessible opportunities for guests during its 183rd year.

Executive Director Chrissy Gluege, 2025 Fairest of the Fair Sydney Miller and PR and Marketing Coordinator Erin Schneider joined us Monday, June 30 to share how the Fair’s sensory-friendly Midway, Spectacular Showmen livestock show and Inclusive Class will return with a few new touches.

The sensory-friendly Midway will run Thursday, July 17 from 2 to 4 p.m., providing individuals with disabilities and a guardian free admission and access to select rides in a calm environment with reduced noise and lighting. The Spectacular Showmen show is set for Sunday, July 20 at 10 a.m., pairing participants with youth mentors to show pigs in the Livestock Coliseum. Afterward, participants can visit the Rabbit Barn to have some more fun and learn more about the Fair’s animal community.

The Inclusive Class for competitive exhibits is open to youth and adults with disabilities, offering an alternative to traditional judging. Registration details, deadlines and more information can be found by clicking here.
