Weather Whys: Harvest time with Hunger Task Force

This week, Rebecca Schuld kicks off the weekly segment talking harvest time and tips in your garden as the growing season comes to a close.

The Hunger Task Force produces a half-million pounds of produce annually.

The corn being harvested and shipped off to local food pantries and soup kitchens goes from farm to table in as little as 24-48 hours.
