MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After a bit of snow on Saturday (several inches for some), we could still see a bit of lake effect snow for the first part of the day, especially lakeside areas. This shouldn't amount to much. After Sunday, we take a break until Tuesday. Then we run the risk of rain showers just about every day into the weekend. The second part of Saturday should be drier. There could be some wintry mix at the onset of the rain on Tuesday, but it won't last long. Temperatures will really modify this week from the 20s on Sunday to the 50s for Friday and into the weekend.
By the way, a look back at February reveals a few things. Temperatures were a bit milder than average, and there was a fairly significant snowfall deficit for the month. It was more than a half foot below average. Hope we can make up some of the difference this month. It's amazing to see how much we gain with the high temperatures. Highs will be near 50 by the end of March. Also, keep in mind the amount of daylight we gain as well. Daylight Saving Time begins in a week.
