West Allis church damaged after overnight car crash

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58)-- A West Allis church is left damaged after someone crashed their car into the building overnight.

It happened at Saint Jordan Evangelical Lutheran on 76th and National around 12:30 Tuesday morning.

The car ended up down the back stairwell of the church on the side of the building.

Our crew on the scene saw one person taken to the hospital.

We're working to find out the extend of their injuries and if there will be any charges filed.
