WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police are looking for a man they say sprayed several people with chemical irritants after a fight inside a gas station.

A manager at the Speedway gas station near 57th and Burnham says, the employees are doing OK after getting sprayed Tuesday, Aug. 4.

The suspect is described as 6'2" to 6'4" tall, medium build, and last seen wearing a black "Mossy Oak" t-shirt, khaki shorts, Nike shoes and a black face mask.

Police say it all started after the suspect started an argument with a customer. During the argument, police say the man sprayed the customer and two employees with a chemical irritant, and then ran out of the store.

Customers say the incident is inexcusable.

"I think it’s outrageous, ludicrous. People need to stop acting the way they are and start loving each other,” said Shaun Bowers, customer.

"This area has changed a lot over the years. I mean it’s definitely not what it used to be. I think people in general aren’t what they used to be,” Ryan Johnson, another customer, said.

If you know who the suspect is or have any information on the incident, you're asked to contact West Allis police or CrimeStoppers at 414-476-CASH.
