Wide range in temps Monday and cooler by the lake

NOW: Wide range in temps Monday and cooler by the lake
NEXT:

After a pleasant Saturday temperatures cooled down Sunday with highs staying in the 40s everywhere. We woke up to lows Monday morning in the 30s to low 40s. A warm front will approach the area throughout the day on Monday from the southwest. That front will clash with a strong lake breeze coming in from the southeast gusting to 20-30 mph causing a classic cooler by the lake day. Lakeside spots might not see highs until later this evening around 60, but inland spots will likely see the mid 60s this afternoon and highs close to 70.

The strong lake breeze will likely force the warm front to stall over our area liming the heating in some northern and northeast spots. This depiction shows Milwaukee getting to 60* and lots of inland locations around 70* but Sheboygan staying in the low 50s.

Regardless of how warm you get Monday it will definitely be warmer than Sundays 40s but not as warm as the upper 70s expected on Tuesday with a breeze southwest wind. The warmth on Tuesday is short lived as temperatures drop the rest of the work week into the low 60s Wednesday and below-average in the 50s for the end of the work week.
