Wisconsin DNR showcasing Wisconsin's outdoors with OutWiGo Green 🌲
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will host OutWiGo Green, an outdoor recreation and conservation event, on Saturday, May 13 at the Kettle Moraine State Forest -- Southern Unit.
The event, open to all ages, will feature a variety of hands-on activities, clinics and guided adventures from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parks and Recreation Management Bureau Director Steve Schmelzer said in a press release about the event, "OutWiGo Green is a fantastic opportunity to learn and explore for kids and adults."
Participants can take part in numerous activities, including archery, birding, kayaking, rock climbing and nature crafts and other opportunities.
OutWiGo Green will include universally accessible activities and offer free loaner equipment. Admission is free for children under 18 and $5 for adults. Vehicle admission to the park is required.
