WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) - Before the 11-day excitement begins, the Wisconsin State Fair is hosting a job fair on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the State Fair Expo Center in West Allis.
According to the State Fair release, roles looking to be filled are Admissions, Facility Services, and Public Safety Officers. Anyone who is at least 16 years old are encouraged to apply. If hired, employees are expected to work all 11 days (Aug. 6 - 16, 2026) of the fair.
The job fair will have on-site interviews where applicants will complete employment documents if successful with their interview. All applicants 18+ will need to pass a criminal background check.
All those interested should bring a resume, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. such as a driver license/ID card, birth certificate, school ID, etc., a social security card, as well as a winning attitude and smile.
Job fair attendees should enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 4, Gate 5 or walk in through the pedestrian entrance at the corner of South 84th Street and West Greenfield Avenue.
