WWE's Johnny Gargano sends uplifting message to patient at Children's Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A young girl being cared for at Children's Wisconsin received a special message from WWE's Johnny Gargano. The message brought her to tears.

According to Children's Wisconsin, Jessie has been in and out of the hospital since the day she was born. The last 45 days have been tough, as Jessie has been battling a series of serious infections in the pediatric ICU.

Jessie's primary nurse, Samantha Budnik, wanted to lift her spirits so she reached out to Jessie's favorite WWE wrestler asking him to send some words of encouragement. And boy did he deliver.

In a video for Jessie, Gargano says in part, "It's your friend Johnny Gargano and I've heard you're a big fan of wrestling. I'm a big fan of yours as well and I know how hard you're working... I am incredibly proud of you... Hearing your story, you're way stronger than I am... You are incredibly special. You are one-of-a-kind... I can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

Gargano ends the video by saying he hopes to meet Jessie in the future and give her a high five.
