Tough talk when it comes to homeless veterans. The non-profit group, Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative, estimates 250 vets have no where to sleep every night in Milwaukee. So this Wednesday evening, a fundraiser will be held to help tackle these staggering stats. It’ll be held at the new Westallion Brewing Company, West Allis' first and only brewery.
Admission is free but donations are highly recommended. All the money raised stays in the community to assist with the cause. The “Fall Call Reception & Fundraiser” will be this Wednesday from 5 to 7pm at the Westallion Brewing Company off S. 72nd Street in West Allis. The event, run by veterans, will feature food and live music. To learn more about the fundraiser, just click here.
