MPD: 2 killed in separate overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two overnight shootings that occurred on Sunday, June 18.

The first shooting took place around 9 p.m. near 38th and Locust. The victim, a 47-year-old Milwaukee man, died on the scene.

The second shooting, which happened 90 minutes after the first shooting, took place near 11th and Burleigh around 10:30 p.m. A 39-year-old Milwaukee man died at the scene due to gunshot injuries.

Both shootings are under investigations as Milwaukee police search for unknown suspects.
