2 people with minor injuries in apartment fire near 103rd and Fond Du Lac

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire early Thursday, Dec. 21 near 103rd and Fond Du Lac.

Fire officials confirmed to CBS 58 that everyone was able to get out of the apartment, and that two people had minor injuries, and treated on scene. 

Upon arrival, officials confirmed the fire was contained to one unit, however that unit sustained heavy damage. 

Two adults and six children have been displaced as the red cross was called to assist with them. 

MFD has turned the investigation over to MPD and the fire investigation unit.
