22-year-old dead, 3 others injured following wrong-way crash in Dodge County

TOWNSHIP OF ELBA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says a 22-year-old woman is dead following a wrong-way crash in the Township of Elba on Fri. Apr. 18. 

Officials say that at around 11:05 p.m. a 2005 Toyota Rav4 was going the wrong direction along US Highway 151 when it collided with a 2019 Toyota Corolla that was traveling northbound. 

The collision caused the Rav4 to roll over several times. The driver of that vehicle, a 22-year-old woman from Beaver Dam, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Two other passengers, both 17-year-old girls, sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital in Columbus and Madison. 

The driver and sole occupant of the 2019 Corolla, a 37-year-old woman from Fond du Lac was also taken to the hospital in Columbus. She is expected to survive.

Officials say the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
