$75K contribution made to Waukesha Christmas Parade Memorial Fund

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A $75,000 donation was made toward a memorial planned to honor the victims of the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy. 

President of the Waukesha County Community Foundation Melissa Baxter said the donation was made by philanthropists David Herro and Jay Franke. 

She said the donations put them $75,000 away from fully funding the Grede Park Memorial, which is expected to be completed by Nov. 21 of this year. 

Baxter says they are incredibly thankful for the all the generous donors and is confident they'll hit their goal.
