Most days this week have had shower chances and Friday is no different. In fact, Friday's rain chance might be one of the better ones of the week but that doesn't mean it's going to be a washout. We've already had a few showers out there this Friday morning but as this first batch of rain leaves we might see some dry time for a few hours.
Here's a radar image that will update with time:
Another round of showers looks likely around midday through the afternoon hours. There isn't much of a storm risk with the rain Friday but a few moderate to heavy downpours may be possible. The best chance for rain is through 4 PM but a few showers may linger through 8 PM.
Rain totals won't amount to too much for most of the local area with most of us seeing a tenth to quarter inch of rain. Those that see some downpours could get closer to 0.30" or 0.40" of rain.
After the rain chance on Friday, the rest of the weekend looks dry! Sunshine returns to the state on Saturday but it will be cool and breezy with highs around 50. Sunday sees the return of a few clouds but warmer with highs in the 60s.
