Hometown author shares inspiration for ’The Sins We Inherit’
After a soggy start to spring with a lot of rain for the second half of March, all of April and the first few days of May we have now gone through a two week dry stretch. From April 1 to May 3 we saw almost 6" of rain but since then over the last two weeks we've only had 0.01" of rain. If we don't get any more rain over the next we would be at risk of seeing drought conditions return.
Thankfully some rain is on the way! A few showers will be possible Tuesday evening but the better chance for rain is Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. It could be a bit of a soggy start to the day on Wednesday.
This could be a nice soggy rain with a 0.25-0.50" of rain likely for most of the area and some communities getting 0.75".
After a mostly dry Thursday we have a chance for storms Thursday night through Saturday. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain with the interactive radar.
