City of Milwaukee to host Fourth of July fireworks, festivities on July 5

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The city of Milwaukee announced Thursday, June 3, plans to resume its Fourth of July festivities.

The news comes after the city's health order restrictions were lifted. 

Activities that were scheduled to take place in parks around the city are now scheduled for Monday, July 5. 

Daytime celebrations will take place at Humboldt Park, King Center and Enderis Playfield. 

Fireworks will be held in 10 Milwaukee County parks including Alcott, Gordon, Humboldt, Jackson, Lake, Lincoln, Mitchell, Noyes, Washington and Wilson.
