MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --Â The CMT Music Awards will air on CBS 58 this Sunday, April 2 at 7 p.m., celebrating some of country music's biggest stars.
Cody Allen, host of CMT's Hot 20 Countdown, shared his excitement for the fan-voted awards when he joined us on Friday, March 31. He noted that viewers can expect a wild ride with outstanding performances.
Taking place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, the show aims to feature memorable collaborations and special appearances, including Gwen Stefani joining her husband, Blake Shelton.
Alanis Morissette will also make an appearance, performing alongside some of country music's biggest stars.
Fans can continue to vote for their favorites at Vote.CMT.com up until Sunday night, April 1, with the winner for the prestigious Video of the Year award still up for grabs.
