MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 24-year-old man gunned down on a Tuesday night in Milwaukee. Another victim in what has become one of city's most violent years. Now, the hope is that you can help find his killer.
The shooting happened on May 14, near 24th and Hadley. Milwaukee police someone found Keagan Cook lying on the street after he'd been shot multiple times.
Detectives don't have witnesses and don't know exactly what led up to the shooting. But they have an idea of a possible motive.
"We do know that the victim likely had some enemies. We know that the victim was involved in prescription drug sales. Like selling prescription drugs on the street. We have information that he was selling fake prescription pills to some people which of course probably made them upset," said Det. Rosemarie Galino, Milwaukee Police Department Homicide Unit.
