FBI seeks Chicago bank robbery suspect who may reside on either side of border

CHICAGO (CBS 58) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank in Waukegan, Illinois, who may reside on either side of the state border. 

The robbery happened on Dec. 9, just after 1:30 p.m. The FBI says they responded to the Bank of America located at 920 S. Waukegan Road, after it was reported a suspect shared a demand note and implied he had a weapon. 

The suspect fled on food. 

Officials describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 35 years old, weighing 185 lbs., and standing 5'10" to 5'11" tall. He has a brown hair, scruffy beard, have acne scarring on his face, and was last seen wearing a dark ball cap, a blue long-sleeved button-down shirt and dark jeans. 

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact authorities.
