Former Milwaukee principal convicted of fourth OWI sentenced to 2 years in prison
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former school principal learned her sentence Monday, May 18, after being convicted of her fourth OWI.
"So this is quite literally, when we're talking about an OWI offense, it's about as aggravated as it can get," Judge Michael Kenitz said. "And I haven't even gotten to your blood alcohol level, and I haven't even gotten to the fact that there was alcohol in the vehicle. I haven't even mentioned that your license was revoked at the time."
Blaire Busack, the former principal of Milwaukee's Institute of Technology and Academics, will spend two years in prison with six years of probation after her release.
Busack was arrested last March after leading police on a chase in Washington County, which ended when Busack crashed into a guard rail.
Back in March of this year, Busack pleaded guilty to attempting to flee an officer as well as her fourth OWI.
Those OWI convictions have occurred over the course of the past two decades.
