MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Music artists Halsey and Logic are the first headliners announced for Summerfest 2018.
Halsey and Logic along with another special guest, yet to be announced, will perform June 29 at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. This will be the first time both artists have performed at Summerfest.
Halsey is a Grammy Award-nominated alternative pop artist. In 2016, she was featured on The Chainsmokers song “Closer”. Logic is a Grammy nominated rapper. In 2017, his song, “1-800-273-8255” became an international top 10 single. The song spotlights mental health and suicide prevention awareness.
"The magic of Summerfest is the diversity of the lineup," Summerfest Vice President of Sales & Marketing Sarah Pancheri said. "That guiding principle for us of truly being something for everyone, that's what's important for us. We feel like the public in Milwaukee and beyond really responds to that. So today, Halsey and Logic, tomorrow, we'll see!"
Pancheri says fans should expect more headliner announcements this week.
Tickets go on sale January 19 at 12:00 p.m. Summerfest 2018 runs from June 27-July 1 and July 3-8.
