Death of 40-year-old Kenosha woman missing for nearly 3 weeks ruled a homicide

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The disappearance and death of a 40-year-old Kenosha woman has been ruled a homicide. 

Police say Gia Martin was last seen Jan. 26. Her body was found nearly three weeks later, on Feb. 14. 

Kenosha police have arrested a 39-year-old man in connected. 

Charges were referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney. Charges include hiding a corpse and first degree intentional homicide.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 40-year-old Kenosha woman, who officials say was reported missing on Jan. 26, has been found dead. 

According to the Kenosha Police Department, a search for Gia M. Martin began the same day she was reported missing. 

An investigation did not produce any explanation as to her whereabouts, police say. 

Martin was found dead on Feb. 14. 

The Kenosha Police Department is conducting a death investigation. There is no danger to the community.
