MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee Brewers fan who got a new kidney last year after wearing a special t-shirt to a game will throw out the first pitch on April 7.
Lenny Zwieg says he will throw the first pitch at Miller Park ahead of the Brewers vs. Cubs game.
Last season, Zwieg wore a shirt that said, “Share Your Spare” asking for a kidney donor. Someone shared a picture of him that went viral and he was able to find a donor.
The Brewers have also invited Zwieg back to Miller Park in June when his entire donation team will be in town.
