1 killed, 3 injured in shooting before fire breaks out near 22nd and Center

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police tell CBS 58 one woman is dead and another three are injured after a shooting on Wednesday night, Aug. 24.
First responders were called to 22nd and Center streets around 9:20 p.m. for a shooting. A police captain with the Milwaukee Police Department says an 82-year-old woman was killed in the shooting. An 88-year-old woman, a 65-year-old man and an 85-year-old man were hurt but are expected to survive.
While on the scene, police say a different house started on fire in the area. That residence is associated with the suspect according to MPD.
A nearby camera captured the deadly attack.
Neighbors tell CBS 58 the 82-year-old woman knew the suspect and they lived right next to each other.
"My mom is still gone, my mom got killed right there," said Gregory Mallory, son of the 82-year-old woman killed.
Gregory Mallory identified the 82-year-old woman shot and killed as his mom, Shirley Sue Mallory. His father, Ivory Mallory, was also wounded as well as his aunt, Carrie, and family friend, Ronnie. Gregory and his aunt were visiting from Colorado.
"I heard from a live news broadcast that my mother had died.
In the surveillance video caught by a neighbor, you can hear the victims sharing laughs and conversation before their night turned violent. You see the suspect shooting at the group more than once and minutes later, you see the home from where the shots were fired in flames.
The home allegedly belongs to the suspect's deceased mother.
Gregory says his family knew the suspect.
Police say they have identified a known suspect but he is not yet in custody.
The shooting remains under investigation.
