MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fewer than a quarter of American adults have a will, down from 33% in 2022, according to Tina Alfini of Drake & Associates who joined us on Thursday, Oct. 8 ahead of National Estate Planning Awareness Week, which starts Oct. 19.
Alfini said estate planning is not just for the wealthy. She recommended creating a will and a living will, naming financial and healthcare powers of attorney, and considering a trust. She also said digital assets, such as email and social media accounts, should be part of a plan.
