CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Last year, CBS 58 talked to Greg Septon about his work as We Energies' peregrine falcon manager. He's the guy who bands the new chicks born at We Energies power plant boxes.
On Wednesday, Feb. 25, Gov. Tony Evers presented Greg Septon with a certificate of commendation for 40 years of work that has brought the raptors back from the brink of extinction.
Septon started Wisconsin's Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project in 1986. He's personally banded more than 1,500 falcon chicks across the state over the years and he's still doing it.
Congratulations!
