Marcus Theatres offering $7 matinees every day for kids and seniors

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marcus Theatres is launching a new "Everyday Matinee" program beginning May 31, offering moviegoers 11 years and under and 60 and over the ability to purchase movie tickets for just $7.

Everyday Matinee will be available for kids and seniors on any day, for any movie before 4 p.m. 

“Many people, but especially families and seniors, are looking at their budgets closely and having to make hard choices,” said Greg Marcus, chief executive officer of The Marcus Corporation. “Movies have always been a place for everyone to come together while watching a story on the big screen, and by offering families and seniors our new Everyday Matinee prices, we are helping make sure that going to the theatre will continue to be a treasured, shared affordable experience for generations to come.”

Marcus Theatres said in a news release, the Everyday Matinee program is one of the many ways the company is making it more affordable for moviegoers to enjoy the theatre.
