Double shooting near 40th and Vliet leaves 1 dead

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that happened on Wednesday, June 26.
It happened around 4:45 p.m. near 40th and Vliet.
Police say the victim and the suspect shot each other during an argument.
The 25-year-old victim sustained fatal gunshot injuries. The suspect, a 38-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries but is in stable condition.
Police say he was arrested, and criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
