WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Three people connected to a CBD store in Menomonee Falls are facing charges after a raid earlier this week.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office says deputies executed a search warrant at Superstar Buds on Main Street Tuesday morning, March 30.
The department accuses the store owner of selling CBD products that exceed the legal THC limit.
The owner disputes that and says law enforcement destroyed thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
"If there's a claim that some of our products are over the THC limit, it's to be investigated by the Department of Agriculture, and at that point, the Department of Agriculture comes and investigates. And if they do find the products are testing over the limit, it's up to the department to contact me, as the owner of the business, and we remedy," said owner Chris.
The sheriff's office says charges will be presented to the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office at a future date.
