Miss Madison's teen wins 2026 state title, advances in competition

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Miss Wisconsin's Teen announced that on Friday, June 19, 16-year-old Madison Rosemurgy from Madison has taken the state title! 

Competing against 23 other contestants, Miss Rosemurgy won $9,000 in scholarships along with the chance to win the title of Miss America's Teen 2027.

In the competition she performed a ballet routine to 'Paint It Black.' Her service initiative centers around increasing accessibility within the dance community by partnering with Milwaukee Ballet Academy and other individual sponsorships to connect dancers with critical resources. The initiative is called The Ballet Bridge: Creating Accessibility within the Arts! 

“We are thrilled to welcome Meredith as our Miss Wisconsin’s Teen 2026. In her very first year with the Miss Wisconsin’s Teen program, Meredith has already demonstrated grace, poise, and a genuine heart for service. She has shown that she will be a wonderful representative of our organization and we look forward to supporting her as she embarks on this exciting journey and inspires people across Wisconsin," wrote Meghan DeMore, Miss Wisconsin Organization executive director in the press release. 

She previously has won the Rookie Talent Award, Overall Talent Award and the Overall Evening Gown Award.
