Security guard attacked in MacArthur Square parking garage dies, death ruled homicide

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say the victim of a battery in the MacArthur Square parking lot back in May has died.
He was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Wednesday as 34-year-old Dylan Plouff.
The medical examiner's report says his death has been ruled a homicide.
According to a fundraiser, Plouff was attacked while working as a security guard.
The suspect in his death is currently facing charges in a separate assault as the state reviews charges in this case.
He's due back in court in two weeks.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a battery that happened in the MacArthur Square parking garage Monday, May 18.
Police say around 6:20 a.m., a 34-year-old encountered a suspect in the parking structure -- located on N. James Lovell Street -- trying to enter vehicles and the suspect battered the victim.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police say the suspect, identified as a 32-year-old man, was later arrested in the vicinity.
Criminal charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
