MPS reports 85% rate of compliance with employee vaccination mandate

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MPS reports that 8,700 of its employees have now shown proof that they've been vaccinated, while 918 have asked for medical or religious exemptions.

That's an 85% rate of compliance with the school district's vaccination mandate.

MPS workers were given until November to show proof of vaccination, or they could be placed on administrative leave or fired.
