No injuries in early morning apartment fire on north side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- No one was injured in an early morning fire in an apartment complex on Milwaukee’s north side.  According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, crews were called to the multi-unit building near N Hopkins Street and W Sheridan Avenue around 2:20 AM Sunday.   The fire was confined to a bedroom in one of the units of the building.    The Red Cross was called to assist the occupants displaced by the fire in the one unit of the building.  According to MFD the other residents were allowed to return to their apartments.   There is no estimate of damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
