Police: 17-year-old driver falls asleep in rollover crash in Dane County, 3 teens transported to hospital

YORK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 17-year-old boy fell asleep while traveling in the town of York on Sunday, June 6, resulting in a rollover crash.

Dane County deputies, along with Fire and EMS, were dispatched to the area of STH 73 at CTH TT at 6:30 a.m.

According to officials, the 17-year-old boy fell asleep while traveling south on STH 73 and the car left the roadway and rolled. All three teen passengers, including a 16-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old girl, were transported to local hospitals. Police say the 14-year-old had a broken arm.

According to police, there were no indication that drugs, excessive speed, or alcohol were factors in the crash.
